So what is our industry? We fall under the cleaning & restoration industries with four different operating names. The cleaning industry encompasses the following services through Aladdin’s Carpet Cleaning: carpet, rugs, upholstery, leather, stone, title, and grout cleaning. We offer complete air duct and vent cleaning as Michigan Air Duct Cleaning.
The restoration industry deals with damages that are generally covered by property insurance. Mitigating damages to “pre-loss condition” is what the restoration industry is about. Aladdin’s Restorative Drying offers restoration services for damage done by water, fire and smoke. We are also Aladdin’s Bio-Scene Recovery, fully trained and licensed to clean areas involving biohazardous or pathogenic materials. An example would include cleaning a crime and/or trauma situation.
Even though these types of services are usually handled by insurance, it is important for you to understand the basics because you are ultimately in charge of hiring the restoration company. Adjusters will often choose several companies and provide you with a list, but you can specifically request any company to perform the work. It’s YOUR home, YOUR needs and YOUR decision. We just want to help educate you so you are able to make the right choice.
