Welcome to Aladdin's

To maintain your carpet between cleanings Aladdin's recommends following these carpet care suggestions:

  • Vacuum often. Dirt and residue in the carpet will not only make your carpet look bad, but they can also damage carpet fibers. Use a good vacuum with high amps and a good beater bar for optimum cleanliness.
  • Switch it up. Alternate the direction you vacuum. If you vacuum the length of the room one day, then vacuum in the direction of the width of the room the next time you vacuum. This will insure you are cleaning all sides of the carpet fibers.
  • Get a new bag. Even though vacuum bags are large, they are not intended to be filled to the top before they are changed. In fact, it is a good idea to change the bag when it is about 1/4 filled.  Once the bag is more than 1/4 full you begin losing the efficiency of your vacuum, and you may also be redistributing dust and allergens into your indoor environment.
